Peer Mentoring, Support and Co-Operation Network
My Hypnotherapy students are always asking me if there is anyone else in their area who is currently doing, or has recently completed, one of my Hypnotherapy courses. Well now, you (HNZ students) can all see for yourselves exactly who is willing to share their learning experience with you - as a fellow Hypnosis New Zealand student.

The new Peer Mentoring, Support and Co-Operation Network is a private network, that is only open to past or current students of the HNZ Hypnotherapy Courses (home study or either of the two 5 day practical courses). The network list is only accessible via the Hypnosis New Zealand Student Resources webpage - that's the private page with the chatroom, forum and lists of helpful learning resources, scripts, graphics, etc. that all students should already have a link to. If for some reason you don't have a link to that page in your favorites, then please email me for a new link to it. I look forward to interacting with many new members of this network as we develop positively. (It's growing very fast already!)

The Hypnosis New Zealand Peer Mentoring, Support & Co-Operation Network is a great way to learn more about Hypnotherapy from your neighbours - and in return, to share what you already know, with them. It gives you the ability to interact with others in your area who are learning Hypnotherapy. The advantages could be huge for everyone that you share with. PLUS, what a great way to find extra volunteers to practice on!

Share Hypnosis information (give a little, receive a little).
Offer or accept assistance with examination requirements

Greetings fellow health professionals. As you may be aware, the New Zealand Hypnotherapy Federation, the umbrella organisation – the Peak Body - for the profession, organises the National Hypnotherapy Conference weekend each year in Auckland. This year is its 16th anniversary.

Established in 1993, the Federation was responsible for bringing together the various professional associations, which together formed the membership of the budding organisation. Membership was opened in 2003 to other hypnotherapy organisations, and has a current membership of eight organisations; professional associations, training schools and the registration board. Initially a one day event, the conference was extended in 2004 to include On-going Training Workshops on the Sunday, and extended the conference to a full two day event. The workshops have proved to be very popular with attendees.

In 2005 the Hypnotherapy Award Dinner was launched, held on the Saturday evening of the weekend. This provides the Federation member organisations with an opportunity to honour those whom have given excellent service and/or dedication in some way to their organisation and/or the profession, or because of their own achievements within the field.

Last year’s conference weekend was one of the largest, and best, ever held. We were honoured to have as Key Note Speaker and guest presenter, Mr Roy Hunter. We are pleased to announce Trance Camp 2010 being held in Sydney in April 2010.

Trance Camp is open to anyone seriously interested in generative personal change and altered states of consciousness. This one or two week journey into the self is an experiential community for learning and experiencing trance while incorporating other consciousness-enhancing tools into practice. During Trance Camp, you will experience and learn a variety of skills allowing a new connection to self and personal transformation. Many participants return to Trance Camp year after year to experience not only profound trance, but Steve himself. This is a must-be-at workshop for all hypnotherapists in 2010.
